Day 2 Walla Crag & Bleaberry a Fell

Today we were excited to learn we were going to climb a mountain. We ate a big breakfast and got on our walking boots. After John (our instructor) checked our bags to make sure we had all the necessary items, we got on a bus to the bottom of Walla crag. John even brought Beth his dog, who had so much fun with us. At first it was a bit hard climbing the steep part to Walla Crag but we supported each other all the way to the top. John was so impressed with us that he thought we could make it up an even bigger mountain called Bleaberry Fell. So as not to disappoint him we did! At the top we ate our packed lunch and prepared to start the journey back down after taking in the beautiful views. When we arrived at the bottom of the mountain in half the time we went on the ferry to bring us back home. We then ate a well deserved ice cream at the local shop before making our way back home. We had another lovely tea and went for a walk into Keswick, where we had fun playing on the play park before coming home to bed. We are so excited to see what John has got in store for us tomorrow.
